Darshnam Kathak Class is a dance academy that features outstanding Kathak classes for passionate students all over. We are a team of dance teachers who help little and young talent to make a way for their interests, hobbies, and dreams. We welcome students starting from the age of 5 years to join us.
At Darshnam Kathak Class, we teach one of the famous dance forms - Kathak (Classical). Our dance instructors are highly talented and experienced. They teach using age-appropriate strategies and offer custom curricula for students with different learning potentials.
Here, we conduct comprehensive classes. We start by teaching basic postures, hand gestures (mudras), footwork (tatkar), and body movements (chakras). Kathak is known for its intricate footwork and rhythmic patterns.
Thus, we introduce the different footwork sequences and teach the children how to execute them accurately. Moreover, we teach the children about the traditional costumes, music, and the cultural context of the dance form.
