As founders of the Duke Horse Riding Club, Dushyant Sharma and Kate O Brien have had the privilege to grow up during an era when children used to spend quality time outdoors in nature. Hence, with that came to life a horse riding club. Founded in 2019, all the horses here are chosen for their natural calmness, friendly nature & incredible adaptability to adapt to any situation.
The thought of the club was first shared between the two founders on a flight, which is where they met for the first time. After an interesting set of conversations both discovered and shared one common interest, which was horse riding. To keep the spirit of this idea alive, 6 months later the discussion, Duke Horse Riding Club was founded.
Here at the academy, you can look forward to a fun and friendly environment for students of all ages and backgrounds. They can safely learn the intricacies of riding horses and develop a life-long bond with them. The club hopes to introduce a whole new generation of young riders to share this bond of love, trust, and respect and carry it with them for future generations to come.
The club teaches groundwork, horsemanship equine assisted therapy in a fun and happy setting. Horses are selfless, lovable, and the most loyal friends a human can have. The Riding Club helps to build and nurture this bond between a human and a horse.
