Rani Khanum - Aamad Dance Centre welcomes kids passionate about classical dance. The classes begin with teaching the fundamental stances (positions) and movements of Kathak. Students will learn how to coordinate their movements with the beats of the music.
Our classes for kids are tailored to suit the age and developmental stage of the children. The classes typically accommodate kids between the ages of 4 to 12 years of age. We also provide dance classes to teens and adults.
Apart from dance, Kathak is closely tied to classical Indian music. Kids will be exposed to different ragas and compositions to develop an understanding of how music complements dance.
